The steam generation process of the steam generator iron
is the core part of the home appliance and directly affects the ironing effect.
Heating of water: Steam generation in a steam generator iron begins with the heating process of water. Inside the iron, there is usually a water tank into which the user pours clean water. This tank is connected to a powerful electric heating system. These systems often include heating elements such as electric heating wires or electric heating plates. Once the user activates the steam generator, the electric heating system begins to work, heating the water above the boiling point.
Boiling of water: As water heats, water molecules gradually gain enough heat energy to begin converting into water vapor. When it reaches its boiling point, water begins to boil, converting into gaseous water vapor. This is the initial stage of steam generation, and the steam produced has the characteristics of high temperature and high humidity, making it more effective when ironing.
Steam Delivery System: Once water vapor is formed, it needs to be delivered to the base of the iron so that it can be effectively released onto the surface of the clothing. A steam delivery system usually includes pipes and valves to ensure that high-temperature steam is delivered quickly and evenly to the iron's working surface.
Iron bottom design: The bottom design of the iron is the key to ensuring that the steam can effectively transfer heat to the clothes. Typically, the bottom of the iron has many small holes through which steam is released onto the surface of the clothing. The design of these small holes not only ensures even distribution of steam, but also increases the surface area where steam comes into contact with clothes, improving the ironing effect.
High-temperature ironing effect: The steam from a steam generator iron has high temperature and high humidity, which allows it to better penetrate into the fibers of clothing. When high-temperature steam comes into contact with clothes, it can rearrange the fiber molecules and remove wrinkles on the clothes, thereby achieving a more ideal ironing effect.
